The iKON Z-ULTRA R454B Inverter Heat Pump and Air Handler System is a high-performance, ducted heating and cooling solution engineered to deliver year-round comfort, exceptional energy efficiency, and reliable operation. Utilizing advanced DC inverter technology and environmentally friendly R454B refrigerant, the system precisely adjusts compressor speed to maintain consistent indoor temperatures while reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
Designed for both new installations and retrofit applications.
The advanced inverter compressor continuously modulates capacity to match the home's heating or cooling demand, providing quieter operation, improved humidity control, and enhanced comfort. Combined with ZERO's intelligent control algorithms, the system delivers stable room temperatures, optimized airflow, and efficient performance throughout every season.
The indoor air handler offers flexible installation with four mounting positions (upflow, downflow, horizontal left, and horizontal right) and features a high-efficiency M-shaped evaporator coil, symmetrical centrifugal blower, and computational constant airflow control for balanced air distribution and maximum comfort.
Engineered for cold-climate performance, the Z-ULTRA Hyper Heat version is capable of delivering 100% heating capacity at -4°F (-20°C) and continues providing reliable heating even in severe winter conditions.
Installation and servicing are simplified through several innovative features, including:
Two-wire non-polarity wired controller support
Easy-access electrical connection board with miswiring protection
Adaptive 115V / 208-230V voltage recognition (air handler)
Built-in condensate pump
Refrigerant leak detection sensor for enhanced safety
Expandable electric heater compatibility
